Timber Design Society

Formed in 1978 as a reflection of a growing interest in timber as an engineering material, the Society's objects are to foster the advancement and dissemination of knowledge relating to the design of timber structures and elements. Membership includes professional engineers, architects and scientists. The society publishes a quarterly journal called the NZ Timber Design Journal.
