IPENZ Branches There are 16 IPENZ Branches in New Zealand and a Branch in the United Kingdom. All IPENZ Members resident within a Branch area (determined by the Board) automatically become members of the local Branch. The Branches exist to provide the services to Members that are best delivered locally. Most Branches send a regular monthly newsletter to all Branch Members and provide a full programme of varied activities throughout the year.Branches provide presentations on topical and technical issues, site visits, and opportunities for engineers to socialise and network. They provide career development and mentoring support where possible. Branches also create opportunities for engineers to provide engineering input into local and national issues. They support local communities through the Neighbourhood Engineers Programme in schools. Branches support and welcome all Members. They endeavour to attract Young Engineers and to encourage their participation in Branch activities. |
